What it is
Perched on a hillside in Silverdale, Auckland Adventure Park packs a serious range of rides into one country-feeling escape from the city. The downhill luge is the centrepiece — fast enough to thrill school-aged kids, repeatable thanks to a bus that ferries riders back to the top. Dual ziplines and a Shooting Star ride add to the lineup, and a 4D cinema gives everyone a breather between runs.
Younger children have their own corner in the Kids Playzone, a carnival-style area with rides and a playground sized for littlies. There is also a café on site, and the park caters for birthday parties — staff set up and tidy away, which parents tend to appreciate.
It suits families with a range of ages well: toddlers in the Playzone, older kids wearing themselves out on the luge and ziplines, and enough going on to fill a full day out.
What other parents say
Staff is very friendly but place is very dated and feels like it needs some upgrade, maintenance and clean. Lots of bird poop at the kids playground. Very rusty / broken equipment and very slow and long lines. Waited for over an hour on the Zipline with just 7 couples in front of us. Definitely don't need to get the unlimited pass. 2 luge is more than enough and 4D movie was underwhelming
We celebrated my son’s 3rd birthday here yesterday and honestly it was the absolute best! The kids (ages 2 - 13) all enjoyed themselves, despite the on and off again rain. We rented 2 time slots for the below deck cafe and it was the perfect size and location for our group of 27 (12 adults, 13 kids & 2 babies). The food was delicious! It was hot and fresh and the portion sizes were bigger than expected. Lastly, the staff. My goodness these ladies were so amazing to work with! Tarina & her team were kind and so accommodating. They always checked in to see if we were okay, needed anything, and always had on a smile when dealing with us. I recommend this place 100% Thank you so much Auckland Adventure Park for a fun filled day! We will definitely be visiting again, hopefully sooner rather than later 😊😊😊

Pretty cool place. Bit pricey but good fun comes at a price . Nice staff . Driveway could do with a few pot hole repairs but all in all a good outing for the kids
A bit smaller than what I expected but it's a good visit for the kiddies. Not super busy which was great even in the Christmas holidays. Loved how they have the toddler seats in the toilets ☺️ Staff is excellent, would love to see this business grow. Reasonable amount of parking. The road leading to the car park could use some love.
I’ve taken my kids to Auckland Adventure Park a few times and they absolutely love the luge and the 4D cinema! It’s a fantastic place for children aged 4 through to teens. For younger kids—especially those in preschool and primary school—it’s an amazing venue for birthday parties. Their castle-themed party room is a real highlight, perfect for children who love medieval and knight-themed adventures. For older kids, the zipline and VR games offer plenty of excitement too. Highly recommended for a fun family day out or a memorable birthday celebration!
