What it is

Wero Climb rises 16 metres and offers more than 70 individual challenges, each shaped by stories drawn from Māori mythology. It is not simply a ropes course — the cultural thread running through the structure gives kids and parents alike something to talk about long after they have unclipped their harnesses.

The range of challenges means younger or less confident climbers can find their footing while older children and adults can push themselves further up the same structure. Families do not need to split up or wait around.

Designed for all ages and fitness levels, Wero Climb sits within the wider Wero Whitewater Park complex in Manukau, and group bookings — including kids' birthday parties — are catered for alongside walk-in sessions.

Really fun and challenging course. At the end of our session, my 7yo son missed out on doing the abseil drop because of time and was quite upset about it. Instructor Chris took him back up to the top so he could do the drop so I'd like to give a big shout out to Chris for being an absolute legend and making my boy happy. Definitely recommend and keen to come back and do it again.

What an amazing location! We did both the high ropes and white water rafting and cannot recommend them highly enough! Well organised, friendly staff, good safety protocols - a fun day out! Room to take and eat a picnic lunch - also room for birthday parties.

Booked for 2 hours.. 1 hour of prep and 1 hour of climbing.. Good fun and challenging for all levels Wear a jumper, gets cold up there.. also wear trainers.. NO CROCS (as a kid found out while we were there) they couldn't go on
