Woodhill Forest
What it is
Set deep in Woodhill Forest, Tree Adventures is a high-wire challenge course where kids and adults clamber across suspended obstacles and launch themselves down ziplines amid the trees. Courses are graded from easy through to advanced, so younger or less experienced climbers can build confidence before tackling trickier sections, while older children and adults can seek out a genuine challenge.
Families tend to tackle the courses together, and reviewers note that children feel a real sense of pride in completing each level on their own terms. The forest setting adds to the atmosphere — this is a day out that feels well away from the city, even if the drive is short.
Tree Adventures also caters to school groups, birthday parties, and community groups, making it a practical choice when organising something for a larger crowd. Bookings are essential.
What other parents say
We took the kids to Tree Adventures and they had an amazing time. They really enjoyed themselves. We chose the Branching Out course, which is suitable for 9-year-olds and was perfect for their age and ability. The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and supportive throughout. At one point my son’s carabiners became tangled, and a staff member responded immediately and helped him sort it out, which was very reassuring. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and we would definitely recommend it for families.
My sister brought me here for my 28th birthday and it was my first time since I was in high school. Still such a great place! Staff are friendly and know what they’re doing. Don’t be afraid they’ll turn you away for any medical concerns - they give you a seperate wristband which just notifies other staff that you have a medical condition. Depending on how busy of a day it is & other people’s tolerance of heights, this does require patience! But just being kind and patient will allow you to enjoy it more!

Taken by my daughter for an early 61st bday . ABSOLUTELY AWESOME . From helping the young kids , watching their confidence grow (going hands free on the zip lines at 10 yrs old) to conquering the 5-8 coarse myself . Fantastic staff . Awesome couple of hours .
Good experience! My children enjoyed their time very happy and exciting.
Did the "Tarzan" course with my plucky 25 yr old girl who made almost everything look effortless ( am a 63 year old female, not keen on heights, but deliberately picked the hardest course ), but had a blast and proudly completed the course. Apart from course 9 where the upper body strength was an issue and I cheated a few times, the rest was fabulous..would do it in a heartbeat again, highly recommend as a personal challenge for any age group..just not for short people with a small stride and short arms..nor the faint of heart 🤣..memorable outing!!
