What it is

Launched from the Takapuna Boat Ramp, Auckland Jet Ski Rental gets families onto the water with minimal fuss. No prior experience is needed and no licence is required, making it genuinely accessible for first-timers. Every rider is fitted with a properly sized life vest before heading out, and a training session covers safe operation and New Zealand boating rules so the day starts with confidence rather than nerves.

Each Yamaha jet ski takes one to three riders, so a parent and a couple of kids can share the same machine. Hire times range from half an hour upward, giving families the flexibility to dip in briefly or make a proper outing of it.

Beyond the jet skis, the lineup extends to banana boats, ski biscuits, wakeboards, water skis, kayaks, and stand-up paddleboards — enough variety to keep older children and teens busy well into the afternoon.

Jet Ski hire in Takapuna provides a fantastic experience. The owner and staff are welcoming and knowledgeable and ensure safety at all times. The jet skis are well-maintained, and the Takapuna location is perfect for riding. Everything was smooth and organized, making it a highly enjoyable adventure. Highly recommended!

Had a wonderful time. I’m highly satisfied by the costumer service provided by the staff. JetSki was pretty fast and new and also easy to control. Will surely visit again during summer with my friends. Thankx to the team.
