What it is
Rainbow's End is Auckland's home-grown theme park, with rides spanning three tiers to suit a wide range of ages and daring. Thrill-seekers make a beeline for the Stratosfear, Fearfall, and Corkscrew Coaster, while the Log Flume, Gold Rush, and Scorpion Karts sit in a middle band for those working up to the big stuff.
Younger children have their own dedicated corner in Kidz Kingdom, where rides like the Choco Express, Magic Bikes, Carousel, and the Tot Spot are sized to match. Fortress of Fun and Rainbow Playlab give smaller kids room to clamber and burn energy at their own pace, while Sideshow Alley and Bumper Boats keep the whole group occupied between rides.
With laser tag, family karts, and a separate Spectra attraction also on site, the park sends most families home happily worn out. A Rides Timetable operates during quieter periods, worth checking before visiting.
What other parents say
We had an amazing day at Rainbow's End! The park has a great variety of rides and attractions for all ages, from thrilling roller coasters to fun family-friendly activities. Everything was well-maintained, and the atmosphere was exciting and welcoming. The staff were friendly and helpful, making the experience even more enjoyable. We especially loved the adrenaline-pumping rides and the fun-filled environment that kept us entertained throughout the day. Whether you're visiting with family, friends, or your partner, Rainbow's End is a fantastic place to create unforgettable memories. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a fun day out in Auckland! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Can't wait to visit again! 🎢🎡🎠✨😊
Fun park and chilled spot to go and relax and enjoy the rides. Some of the rides were under maintenance and they closed on Friday at 4pm, but overall good service. General admission tickets a bit pricey though in my opinion, so I would recommend going early to get the most out of your time there

YARRR! WE ARE SO BACK, BABY! If you live in Auckland and still haven’t checked out Rainbow’s End, what are you doing? NZ’s only major theme park is iconic for a reason. Such fun rides, manageable lines, and so much to do. Cannot wait to come back. 1000/10 Absolutely loved Rainbows End... I just wish it didn’t end. 🌈 💜
Was pleasantly surprised by how great Rainbow's end was. We bought the Superpass and arrived with no expectations, but ended up having a fantastic time. Parking was easy and convenient, the staff were all friendly and welcoming, and the food we had was good. The rides were genuinely fun and well worth it. Rides where for everyone. Definitely worth a visit!
It's one of those expensive but memorable things to do with your family, our kids love it there, we always have a blast. They offer a carer and disability entry fee and que skip passes through their guest services which helps to make it more accessible for people with disabilities. lots of options for food around the park, a variation of rides that are really thrilling and then really tame which is great. family showsm characters etc, it's a whole day outing.
