Flower Finding Safari

A spring school-holiday trail that sends kids roaming through the Auckland Botanic Gardens on the hunt for blooms. Following characters Flora the Explorer and Jungle Flower, families make their way through the Camellia Garden and Spring Blossom Valley, discovering what's flowering along the route.

The trail runs as a self-guided leaflet picked up from the Visitor Centre, so there's no set start time and families can move at their own pace. It's a gentle way to get children looking closely at the garden rather than simply passing through it.
