What it is
Auckland Moon Festival is a free three-day community celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival, set across Dominion Road and Potters Park. The programme spans cultural performances, a Hanfu parade, traditional arts and crafts, lantern displays, and a spread of Asian food from community stalls.
Families can move between interactive experiences, music, dance, and hands-on crafts, with flavours and traditions drawn from across Asia all in one outdoor setting. The festival runs rain or shine, so dressing for the weather is worth planning ahead.
