That was so much fun! Remote Control Cafe in Mt Eden offers a miniature construction site, where patrons can release their inner child and play with remote control diggers and trucks. You get a crash course from a very friendly staff member, and then the fun starts! I'm pretty sure I broke every OSH Rule. Their menu is also geared towards the playfulness of the cafe and includes toasties, wedges, nuggets, and the like. It has a great drinks menu, slices, cakes, and scones. PS: Actual children are also welcome

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I had an amazing time at RCC (Remote Control Cafe)! This place has such a unique and fun concept where you can enjoy great coffee while playing with remote control cars. It’s a perfect mix of entertainment and relaxation. The atmosphere is vibrant, clean, and very well organized. The staff are friendly and helpful, making the whole experience even better. The coffee and snacks were delicious, and the RC track was super fun to use. It’s a great place for friends, families, and even adults who still enjoy a bit of playful fun. I highly recommend RCC if you’re looking for something different from a regular cafe. Definitely a 5-star experience! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

Found a super fun café ☕️ The biggest surprise was that it actually has a playground! Not only can you grab a coffee, but you can also rent toy vehicles, like mini excavators. It looks easy at first, but once you try it, it’s actually pretty challenging 😂 At one point, a few of the vehicles bumped into each other, and so many people brought their kids to play. The vibe was really fun and energetic. We ordered milk tea and matcha. The drinks were on the sweeter side, but the overall experience was truly unique — definitely one of those places where you come to play just as much as you come to drink coffee. ☕️✨

Great idea and easy outing with kids. Lady very helpful - suggested the best vehicle for our little one. Time flies fast - get at least 30 min! And don’t forget to register for rewards card on their website - you’ll definitely be back! Background light chilled music would be nice ;)

I recently visited Remote Control Cafe and had such a lovely experience. The customer service was outstanding — the staff were genuinely friendly, attentive, and made us feel very welcome from the moment we walked in.
