What it is

Timezone is an indoor arcade and entertainment centre with sites across New Zealand, offering a broad mix of classic and contemporary games under one roof. Kids can make a beeline for the claw machines, rack up a rivalry over air hockey, or strap in for a motion simulator ride, while tenpin bowling gives the whole family something to compete over. Tickets earned along the way are redeemed for prizes at the Winners Vault.

A Powercard system keeps the play going — families load credit onto a card and track their balance through the Timezone Fun App, which also holds rewards and offers. Absolutely loved it. At such a great spot. Took many pics. It was a delight to deal with Rajesh and Denise. Will be back again. Many games to play around with or have fun by doing some Karaoke challenge.

Had a great experience at Timezone Queen Street today. The staff were very welcoming and genuinely happy to help. Big bonus points for the free claw machine game they were running when we arrived, which was such a fun and unexpected surprise. It really set a great vibe for our visit that my daughter didn’t want to leave! Definitely coming back! 🎉🕹️

This might be the best Timezone in New Zealand!! (Nothing can beat the Gold Coast one 😜) The vibes with the music, amount of games and even having Karaoke!! 😲 Staff were all AMAZING with Hargun upping the vibes even more 🔥😎 10/10 for this Timezone definitely. Absolutely loved my experience here

This timezone at cbd is an absolute blast for all ages! The vibes are on point - energetic, full of excitement, fun games. The staffs are super friendly - Sukhee, Jackson to name a few. They run free claw machine games every 30 mins and makes it super exciting. Everything is well maintained, clean and I love their prize counter - so many options to choose from. They run cool promotions to top up the timezone cards. This is my regular spot to hangout and win cool prizes. Can’t wait to go there again.. #arcadegames #besttimezone

We love Timezone Queen Street. Considering we live out West (and have a branch close by) but drive all the way to the CBD just to play says quite a bit about the store. The staff are amazing, friendly and energetic. They make you feel welcome and have the world of patience. The store is always clean and tidy. They have regular promotions which means your money goes further so you can enjoy the games more. They also do fun (free!) games with the claw machines which really gets the vibe going. The karaoke booths are a lovely attraction and the comfy couches are great for dads who want to rest while their kiddos sing their hearts out to Kpop Demon Hunters. Almost forgot to mention, they're one of the few arcades that still has a DDR machine so if you love the old school vibes but newer music, that's the place to be!
