Metrolanes

Metrolanes is a fantastic destination for a memorable night out in the heart of Auckland CBD, offering a more refined and quiet atmosphere compared to typical bowling alleys. It is perfectly suited for date nights or a fun catch-up with friends, providing a stylish environment that feels both relaxed and entertaining. Beyond the bowling lanes, the venue features a variety of other activities to keep the energy going, including arcade games, a bar and dining area. Its central location on Queen Street makes it an incredibly convenient spot to escape the city bustle for some lighthearted competition.

The most rundown bowling alley I have ever been two. Half the lanes were out of action when we arrived and the ones allocated to us were breaking down every 2-3 turns. At times you'd hit pins but not get any points registered, other times you wouldn't hit any pins yet the system would allocate you points. What's worse is the system would suddenly jam up in the middle of a turn requiring you to escalate the breakdown to management to reset and fix over and over again. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and for that I reward them two points, but for the facility itself, zero. Do better and invest money in the upkeep of your facility.
