What it is

Treasure Island is Australasia's largest adventure golf course, built around a pirate theme and split into two distinct 18-hole layouts — Blackbeard's and Captain's. Players putt over waterfalls, navigate waters stocked with sharks, crocodiles and eels, and brace for the cannon blast somewhere along the way. It sits near Auckland Airport in Māngere.

The Captain's course is wheelchair and pushchair accessible, and seating is dotted around both courses for those happy to watch. Cold drinks and ice creams are available on site, and a BBQ can be arranged for groups. Lighting means games can run into the evening.

Three function areas make it a workable spot for birthday parties and group gatherings, and the courses can accommodate school groups and holiday programmes. No booking is needed for smaller groups — families can simply turn up and head straight to the first tee.

We had an awesome time playing on Blackbeards golf course. A well maintained mini golf course. Loved the Pirate themes, the waterfall was so beautiful. The course was pretty easy too. We booked through bookme which made it cost effective and made checking in quick and efficient. The staff was lovely and helpful. Lots of fun!

Great to visit if you have time to kill before a flight. Half price for your second round. Beverages or ice blocks/ice creams are available. Course takes about an hour and there are two routes to take, an easy course or a more difficult course. We were there before 3pm so it was quiet and quick to complete.

Just really well set out and fun for all ages. The course wasn't super difficult which ment we could play with the kids. Very well maintained. What mpressed the most was even though it had been there for years, the plants were healthy, rocks and features were painted and someone really cares for the place. It showed Add a wee café and they would have the perfect set up.

The old man that served us was very kind and professional. Very empathetic to the fact we had a non verbal autistic child with us that would play with us makes me write this review. My nephew didn't finish the whole course but the fact the worker was very understanding makes me give this place 5 stars and if I could give higher ratings I would. Thank you Matua! I know my nephew appreciates it. My daughter loved playing here too. Thank you for being an awesome Kiwi!

A great 👌🏼 way to spend an hour or two . For adult 17$ and you get 18 holes around. Fairly well structured and maintained pirate-themed ☠️ mini putt course ⛳. It was pretty busy here, but there is heaps of seating Great view from the outer part of the course. Staff also friendly 😎. Pro tip 🤑 if you buy a ticket from BookMe, you will get a ticket for $8 for adult and family pass for 41$ 😉
