Treasure Island is Australasia's largest adventure golf course, built around a pirate theme and split into two distinct 18-hole layouts — Blackbeard's and Captain's. Players putt over waterfalls, navigate waters stocked with sharks, crocodiles and eels, and brace for the cannon blast somewhere along the way. It sits near Auckland Airport in Māngere.

What it is

The Captain's course is wheelchair and pushchair accessible, and seating is dotted around both courses for those happy to watch. Cold drinks and ice creams are available on site, and a BBQ can be arranged for groups. Lighting means games can run into the evening.

Three function areas make it a workable spot for birthday parties and group gatherings, and the courses can accommodate school groups and holiday programmes. No booking is needed for smaller groups — families can simply turn up and head straight to the first tee.

We had an awesome time playing on Blackbeards golf course. A well maintained mini golf course. Loved the Pirate themes, the waterfall was so beautiful. The course was pretty easy too. We booked through bookme which made it cost effective and made checking in quick and efficient. The staff was lovely and helpful. Lots of fun!

Great mini golf course with a fun pirate theme and plenty of creative holes. The course was well looked after, the staff were friendly, and we had a great time. Definitely worth a visit if you’re looking for something fun to do with family or friends. We’ll be back!

Great to visit if you have time to kill before a flight. Half price for your second round. Beverages or ice blocks/ice creams are available. Course takes about an hour and there are two routes to take, an easy course or a more difficult course. We were there before 3pm so it was quiet and quick to complete.

A great 👌🏼 way to spend an hour or two . For adult 17$ and you get 18 holes around. Fairly well structured and maintained pirate-themed ☠️ mini putt course ⛳. It was pretty busy here, but there is heaps of seating Great view from the outer part of the course. Staff also friendly 😎. Pro tip 🤑 if you buy a ticket from BookMe, you will get a ticket for $8 for adult and family pass for 41$ 😉

Weather wasn’t the greatest but the mini golf course made up for it, 2 different courses hard and a easy played the hard first was a great time so played the easy after and it’s half price if u want to play the second course, if u need to burn some time off before a flight or looking for something to do I’d recommend coming here I’ll be back for sure.
