What it is
An old-school bowling alley a block off Broadway, and old-school is the honest description — the lanes, the screens and the carpet are all of an earlier era, and that is either the charm or the drawback depending on the family. What it does have is sixteen lanes, balls down to a five-pound child's size, twenty billiard tables, air hockey and a room of arcade machines, all under one roof and open late, which makes it a straightforward answer to a wet afternoon. Bowling is booked at the counter rather than online, and quiet times are easy to walk into. Reviews are mixed and the equipment shows its age, so it is a place to go for a game rather than for the surroundings. There is a bar and a gaming room on site, which is worth knowing before you take younger children.
What other parents say
It's almost a bit nostalgic to step into this place. It still looks like it's from the early 90s/00s era. The bowling lanes are dated and the screens are old school. They also have Pool tables which were ok and arcade machines. The bowling lanes keep breaking down and then a random car horn sound goes off. Needs a revamp
It was super simple and really easy to use! I think this might be the only place where you don’t even have to change your shoes, which already deserves a high rating. Honestly, as long as I can bowl, I’m happy — it doesn’t need to be fancy. The only thing I’d say is that the elevator to get there could really use some improvement!

This bowling alley is definitely a hidden secret, but I’m not sure I’d call it a hidden gem. It’s tucked away on the top level of a pretty discreet building, so it almost feels like you’ve stumbled across a secret spot. The atmosphere was casual and the setup was decent, but unfortunately, the lanes kept malfunctioning during our session. We had to wait multiple times for resets, which made the game drag out a lot longer than expected and took a bit of the fun out of it. That said, my friends and I still managed to make the most of it and had a good laugh along the way. If the equipment was more reliable, this place would have been a much better experience because the vibe itself is pretty relaxed and laid-back. Overall, not a bad spot if you’re not too fussed and just want a casual game with mates—but hopefully the lane issues get sorted soon!
Been here multiple times and it's a simple, genuine bowling alley with arcade games, pool tables and some pokies. Owners are really nice and prices are nice and cheap. 100% recommend if you want a chill vibe bowling alley
Its a bit on the pricey side. This is more of those underground places that you walk into the building and feel like theirs that creepy guy right behind following you. The elevator into the building is really sketchy. I mean there are so many stairs that it is exhausting and the elevator just loves to joult and likes to take its time stopping properly and opening the door. But the rugby is great when they put it on
