Craft Harvest Market
Craft Harvest gathers makers from around Auckland into the Jubilee Hall on Parnell Road on the fourth Saturday morning of each month, and everything on the tables is handmade by the person selling it. Stalls change from month to month, but there is usually pottery, jewellery, prints and cards, wooden toys, knitting and soap, with makers happy to explain how a thing was made, which is most of what children get out of it. Being indoors, it is one of the few markets that holds up in bad weather. It runs at the same time as the Parnell Farmers' Market in the car park outside, so the two work as one outing: produce and a coffee under the trees, then the hall for the making. The Auckland Domain is across the road if there is energy left afterwards.

This farmers market is on the smaller side, but there’s definitely an abundance of fresh produce available for purchase, along with some delicious-looking baked goods that are hard to resist. While everything looked high quality and beautifully presented, the prices were quite steep — we picked up a small jar of homemade Indian cashew dip for $17, which felt a quite pricey. Overall, it’s a nice spot for a quick walk-through experience and to support local vendors, but it might not be the most budget-friendly market around.
Parnell Farmers' Market is a hidden gem in Auckland 💙 The atmosphere is vibrant, and the selection of fresh, locally sourced produce is fantastic. From organic vegetables to artisan cheeses and freshly baked goods, there's always something delicious to discover. Also, they have a fantastic craft market with unique, handmade goods. The vendors are friendly and passionate about their products, making the experience even more enjoyable. It is the perfect spot to grab quality ingredients and support local businesses. Highly recommend visiting on a weekend! So glad that I did.

The Parnell Farmers Market is my version of a small and close Matakana Market. There are fresh groceries, matcha, fresh flowers, food stalls etc. The vibes were great this morning!
I usually enjoy shopping at Parnell Market and have always been satisfied with the fresh products. However, this time I was disappointed. I bought some Envy apples from an Asian lady’s booth in the middle section of the market, but when I got home and cut them open, they were not in good condition. I chose Envy apples because I expected them to be delicious, so it was quite upsetting. I hope this was just an isolated case, as I really appreciate the quality of the market overall.
Fresh fruit and veg, olive oil, and tables to sit down to enjoy food and tea and coffee with entertainment. Dog friendly and on the fourth Saturday of every month there is a craft market as well.
