Catalina Bay Farmers Market

Enjoyable space and good coffee with a range of food offerings. However, for those looking for local fresh food product options the market is pretty disappointing with a very limited range available compared to other markets in the country. Bread was very good and highly recommended but I can't recommend the fruit and veggies or other offerings. Price wise the honey is pleasant but expensive compared to other North Island honeys. Good for a morning out but certainly not enough there to make it a regular market stop.

Great little market on every Saturday and Sunday. Some great crafts beautiful food and the best fish supplier in Auckland by far at North Harbour Fish Market in the main pavilion. Some lovely walks in the area and great restaurants. You can drive there easily on the norwestern or ferry over from Beach Haven or the city. A real gem!

This is my first time visiting the Saturday/Sunday morning market at Hobsonville. I went with my partner for a morning date to enjoy coffee and breakfast, and it was worth it. Parking was a bit challenging, but the place was easy to find. The entrance stairs were beautiful, and the view of the bay was stunning. There were many couples and families with kids walking their dogs and enjoying coffee. Inside, there were plenty of food options. Our main goal was to try the famous Egg Tart (Portuguese Tart), and we loved it - there was a queue at the entrance of the bakery café. After the egg tarts and coffees, we tried several other food options: Pork skewers with sticky rice and Vietnamese noodles. I enjoyed having them in this market. There was also a shop selling dried flowers in the market - my partner likes them, and I could give them as a gift right there. Overall, it was a satisfying morning walk/date for both of us. I highly recommend visiting this place if you haven't already.
