About
When a young boy discovers a set of marionettes in his grandfather's attic, the dusty puppets suddenly spring to life. Armed with a magical umbrella and a set of mighty moves, his newfound friends lead him on a journey to overcome his fear and conquer his dreams of being on stage.
The show is the work of Jandel J and the Funky Friends, the company behind The Perfect Gift and Baggage, and is described as action-packed and uplifting — a story about being stronger together.
Pitched at curious young minds and their caregivers, Motuhake sits within a wider festival at Aotea Centre that offers free activities and experiences throughout.
