What it is
Wonderverse invites children to do more than watch — they help build a universe of light and then walk straight into it. At Aotea Centre, the experience unfolds through a tunnel of flickering fireflies, a glowing forest to dance in, and a gradual, sense-filling journey through the vastness of the cosmos.
The lighting is the work of Geoff Cobham, and the soundtrack comes from Elisha Umuhuri of DEM MOB — together they give the show a genuine sense of scale without overwhelming small visitors.
Designed for curious young minds and their caregivers, Wonderverse sits within a wider festival that also offers free activities and experiences to explore alongside the main show.
