Quick Play Arcade

Quick Play is the sort of arcade that does not try to be a day out on its own, and works the better for it. The machines run on tokens and the mix is deliberately broad — driving cabinets with proper seats, air hockey, basketball hoops, a photo booth and a wall of prize machines — so children of quite different ages can each find something rather than queue behind one another. The Ormiston room is one of three the operator runs around Auckland, and it sits inside the town centre rather than off on its own, which makes it a natural half hour either side of a film or a supermarket shop. It is a self-service room, with tokens coming from a machine on the wall rather than a counter, so it helps to settle on how many games the group wants before starting.

Biggest waste of money, games take your tokens and doesn’t give you a game with no person on site to talk too. 3 tokens for most games. Biggest disappointment

Wish I read the review on here earlier. Don’t waste your money on the token machine. Put money in and didn’t get anything back. Called the number… no answer. Left voicemail and have heard nothing since. Save your money, spend it somewhere else.

1 stars a bit much for this arcade. It’s small, yet half the machines are broken. Spent $10 on tokens and nothing came out the machine😐 Called the number listed and no answer. Save yourself the heart ache 😅

Totally disappointed. Basketball machine swallowed the tokens....no game. 3 tokens gone. Broken. Another machine broken as well. One where you pay to get the ball out the slot and 2 other balls are stuck down the chute causing yours to get stuck behind it. Waste of space this. Kids didn't even enjoy it after seeing their tokens get put in and no game. Msged the number on the board. Hey owners leave some out of order signs out so the public can put them in your broken machines eh. We will do your job for you after wasting our money. Bit of a sham I would suggest take your kids to the arcade in takanini under silky otter movie theatre. That place has everything, running grid, claw machines, bowling alley, karaoke....way more
