Paradice Ice Skating

Paradice is Auckland's home for ice skating, with rinks kept at a crisp 8°C and everything families need to get on the ice without fuss. Skate hire and helmets are included, and beginners can grab a skate aid or one of the plastic whales to build confidence on the ice. Thick socks and gloves are available to purchase if anyone forgets, and lockers keep belongings safe while everyone skates.

Children under 13 skate alongside a supervising adult, making it a genuinely shared experience rather than a drop-off activity. For those who catch the bug, the Skating Academy runs year-round classes with step-by-step instruction, and ice hockey programmes cater to players of all ages and skill levels with experienced coaches.

Birthday parties and group sessions are also on offer, giving families plenty of reasons to return well beyond a one-off outing.
