Lloyd Elsmore Park Pool and Leisure Centre
A popular Pakuranga leisure centre with warm-water pools perfect for family swims. Little ones will love the dedicated toddler splash pool, while the outdoor splash pad adds extra fun on sunny days. A welcoming spot for all ages, from babies taking their first dip to older kids practising their strokes.

What other parents say
I regularly visit Lloyd Elsmore Park Pool and Leisure Centre for my three daughter’s for their swimming lessons. After each lesson, we usually need to use one of the family changing rooms. The centre has four family changing rooms (excluding the accessible changing room), but they are often occupied for long periods. It is very difficult to find one available, even after waiting 20–25 minutes. On my last visit, I waited more than 25 minutes, and during that time only two rooms became available while four families were waiting. I would like to suggest introducing a recommended time limit of around 15 minutes per family when others are waiting. I believe this would be a practical and fair approach that would help reduce waiting times and ensure the facilities are shared more efficiently. Thank you for considering this suggestion. I appreciate the facilities and hope this feedback helps improve the experience for families using the centre.
Very clean pools and warm water during winter. Suitable for kids of all ages. They also have dedicated changing rooms for babies and toddlers. Easy parking with heaps of spaces. Entry fee is very cheap and free for kids who are under 12. Definitely a great place for swimming on the weekends.

Though this is a great facility - the opening times of the splash pool are disappointing - they are different everyday and you need to either check the website or call before going to see what time it opens. Usually they open at 11:30 am to 2pm which is too late for toddlers which this pool mainly serves and is technically lunch time. A couple of times we arrived to find the lifeguards (young team members) still setting up the pool and removing the covers so though it was scheduled to open at 11:30am - the gates were not opened till 11:45am. Then there are instances where we needed to wait to get in the facility all together because was at capacity - when we got in it was no where near full. The way I see it - there are staffing issues - either understaffed or under performing. It seems like the more we pay (entry fees, rates) the less we get. Splash pool should be open 9am to 12pm - that suits toddler times much better. And please stick to a schedule and employee more lifeguards. This is a great facility but not serving all its community members well and as such is under utilised. Why invest in building a splash pool only for it to be open for 3.5 hours if that a day?
Use it for the gym and pools. Staff very friendly. Mostafa is a excellent personal trainer good hard workouts and knowledgeable. Made personal plans to achieve my goals
Its good, but today we came they just let us enter for 30 minutes only. We came by looking at the time from Papakura . Below is the screenshot. They need to be kind by asking at least we can refund you or you come next visit free of cost. You shouldn’t be arrogant though it is your mistake
