Palm Springs Geothermal Pools Complex

Ooooo yeaaaaa! You know when you have no idea what you’re getting into but the sound of it is, well, sound. And then you get there and you’re like a kid in a candy store! Amazed at every turn. Wow’d with every breath. Well not quite that. But very definitely impressed 🤣 Super. Dooper. Clean. Which is important. At a place where you swim. Asian owned and operated and a large number of the clientele are too. It’s kind of a sleeper, cos from the outside you’re not really expecting miracles. But from louvre sun cover, to clean bathrooms and toilets, to fake grass and sculpted rockeries…. Did I mention 30 minutes from NZ’s largest city. I’m coming back here. Don’t know when. An amazing place for adults to relax in some nice hot thermal pools. Sadly the extra hot pool was closed today but the main pool was hotter than any public spa ive been in. Personally I dont think this is a place to bring children, while there is a small paddle pool for the kids its definitely aimed more at being a quiet retreat for adults with lovely calming music. It feels more like a spa retreat than a water park to bring the kids on the weekends. I saw another review about some possible racism towards brown skinned people and im not disregarding their experience but I am maori and LGBTQ and felt the customer service was top tier. I felt safe and well looked after. The bathroom and shower facilities could do with an upgrade but overall it was as clean as you expect public showers too be so I wasnt disappointed. Will 100% be attending again very soon.
