Panmure Sunday Fleamarket
The Panmure Sunday Fleamarket has been part of the town centre for years, setting up every Sunday morning in the car park beside the library. It is a working market rather than a boutique one: growers bring fruit and vegetables by the box, stallholders lay out clothing, tools, toys and household goods, and locals sell from car boots along the edges. Food stalls keep browsers fed as they work their way round.

What it is
For families it is an easy outing with a bit of treasure-hunting in it. Children with a few coins can dig for books, games and small secondhand things, and the pace suits a pram as readily as an older child on the hunt. It is busiest at the start of the morning and thins out as it goes on, so arriving early gets the best of both the produce and the bric-a-brac. Most of it packs down before the rest of Panmure has woken up.

The atmosphere is instantly welcoming. The layout is a classic open-air mix: you will find high-end curated vintage stalls right alongside casual sellers trading straight out of their car trunks or off tarps on the ground. Live music, often a local jazz band playing in the center, sets a relaxed rhythm for browsing. Because it is an open-air market, it is completely dependent on Auckland’s unpredictable weather. If you plan to visit during the fortnightly winter series, it is smart to bring a jacket and an umbrella.
A fun market with alot of things to look at from food, clothes, or just random objects. Came here grabbed some food from a stall and the kinship coffee shop which were great. There was also a nice jazz band that was playing when I came. Highly recommend!

Really cool! Lots of good bargains and foods too!
We arrived half an hour before closing. What we did see was lots of clothes mostly reasonable prices some like usual were highly expensive. It was really easy to get a car park right next to the market. In the centre of the market there is a huge shop Junk and Disorderly. If you like vintage antique you will love this place and it is open 3.
