What it is

Woodhill Mountain Bike Park is Auckland's only managed, purpose-built single-track network, which means the trails are maintained, the hazards are considered, and there is proper support on hand when things go sideways. Over 100 hire bikes remove the barrier of needing your own gear, and an on-site mechanic, pro shop, and café mean families can settle in for a full day rather than a quick loop.

First-timers are well catered for, with coaching available and a set-up that suits riders working up from the basics. The park also runs the city's only managed disc golf course, giving non-riders — or anyone needing a breather from the trails — a reason to wander the forest in their own right.

A trained medic and emergency response vehicle are on site during shop hours, which is reassuring when children are involved. The park is open year-round, and night riding is an option for families whose older kids are ready to take things up a notch.

It's a well configured Park with quite an extensive trail network including some pretty cool jump lines and some double black lines for the more outgoing types...

pulse racing trails, berms, jumps, hacks and treks. Trails for all levels of fitness. Hire bikes available or bring your own hard tail or full suspension. I have the best times riding out here, and there are no cars to contend with when your riding. Get off the streets and onto the trails!

Amazing bike track as you can see in my pictures. They have huge bike park with various tracks for all different levels. We just tried few track for beginners for 2 hours and we loved it. Also, they have a good quality of their rental bikes.

Awesome MTB trails, well maintained and clean. Water, repair, and site map stations are installed in the tracks. Staff are very accommodating and friendly

Really well maintained trail which works in almost all weathers. Many downhill sections to enjoy which is quite different experience for a road bike rider like me. I found it’s more about technique than pedaling in downhills :) good fun. Will definitely go back. Recommended anybody enjoys outdoor activities even you’re not really cyclist :)
