Baby Spa NZ in Onehunga offers hydrotherapy and infant massage for babies aged from two days to eight months — one of the few places in New Zealand doing so. The sessions take place in purified water, where the gentle pressure encourages movement and relaxation in a way that is difficult to replicate on dry land.

The reported benefits span muscle development, sleep promotion, relief from colic, digestion support, and early water association — a useful foundation for swimming lessons down the track. The team are trained midwives, which gives parents of very young babies an added layer of confidence.

My baby girl has had 4 sessions at baby spa (between 6 and 12 weeks old). She absolutely loves it. Every session she does something new that shows me she’s learning fast. We adore Simran. She’s like a Disney princess for the babies, so engaging and gentle with them. My baby is yet to not cry after getting out of the spa and actually enjoy her massage but we will keep trying :) A bit pricey but worth it.

Amazing place to bring your bubs. My 5 week old Brodie absolutely loved his time with Marcela also Dad & I enjoyed the experience. So many smiles throughout and our baby was really engaged. Thanks Marcela. We will be back ☺️

What an experience it was to go to the baby spa! I would highly recommend to any parent with a baby. The environment is calming with the sunlight trickling in through the windows. All of the staff were kind, caring and very knowledgeable sharing how it would effect our grandson. Since then baby has responded really well and is coping much better, with wind and sleep. I have never seen a child relax so quickly and really enjoy such an experience. What a complete change. I only wish this had been around when my own children were babies! Give it a go people!!!!!

We LOVED IT!! We took our baby girl in for a session and it was one of the most awesome experiences for our little family. The ambiance of the whole place was just stressfree, no rush at all, beautifully curated, clean and spacious. Not only is hydrotherapy so beneficial in so many ways but just seeing your baby explore and understand their own world is amazing to watch. Then with a baby massage to end the sesson our little girl was so relaxed and had an amazing sleep, Dad and i were in absolute awe of our babygirl. The staff there are so wonderful and a big shout out to Marcella for your wealfh of knowledge and reassurance throughout the session. Run dont walk... if you have not tried this place out. Please do yourself and your baby a huge favour and take them here!! We are 100% coming back for more sessions! Highly recommend it 🥰 Thank you team at Baby Spa NZ 🫶🏽

Would have given it 5 stars and more if i could as we loved this placed ... left buzzing ..mjust sadly next bookings and ability to contact them have been radio silence. Booked and paid up front for appointment sadly they changed it no consultation... unable to attend at that time and haven't been able to get hold of them to change it or get money back.
