What it is

Starry Storytime is a relaxed session pitched at parents and babies, centred on a shared reading of Flit the Fantail and the Matariki Map. Between the pages there is space to get up, stretch, and join in some mindful movements and a sing-song — a gentle change of pace before the main event.

The session finishes with a trip into the planetarium itself for a show, rounding out a 50-minute outing that moves at a comfortable pace for little ones. The programme is rated E, and children under three get in free.
