The Club Sport kart suits beginners and casual fun, the Cup Sport at Colin Dale is built for head-to-head competition, and the Duo Kart puts a parent and child side by side in the same seat — a solid option for younger or less confident racers who want to be part of the action without going it alone.

The Penrose venue also runs pro-grade sim racing rigs, letting families swap the outdoor track for famous world circuits on screen — a useful option if the weather turns or the queue is short. An annual Race Club membership unlocks discounted race prices for regulars.

Went to Ace Motorsport for the first time in 12 months and it was a great experience. All the staff were very helpful and the track staff were willing to assist if we thought there was a problem with our karts. The track layout has a few challenging corners, but nothing beginners would struggle with. Great experience, helpful staff, can't wait to race this track again!

Had a fantastic time here! The course is much bigger than others in Auckland, especially because it's outside. You can really get some speed up! Staff were wonderful and made us free very welcome. Will definitely be letting more people know about this place. Also has a lovely place across the car park for food and drinks after.

Myself and a group of mates do an annual hire kart race which is all fun and games with a lot of bragging rights on the line. We have raced at all of the indoor tracks in Auckland, Hampton Downs and Rotorua multiple times. The general feeling after this years race was that ACE was the best so far. Really well run by the team. Karts go well and the track is fun with plenty of overtaking spots. Highly recommended.
