The Shed Collective Farmers' Market
The Shed Collective gathers up to 35 growers and makers every Saturday morning at a heritage apple shed on Parrs Cross Road, on the western edge of Henderson. Stalls sit under the shed roof and along the pergolas, so the market runs rain or shine, and the lawn and garden beside it give younger children room to move while the shopping gets done. The emphasis is on local, artisan, organic and spray-free food, which makes it a useful weekly stop rather than a novelty. Cosmic Garden Flower Farm grows seasonal wild flowers on the same site, so there is usually colour along the walk in. It is a small, unhurried market rather than a large one, and that suits families with a pram: a circuit takes half an hour, the produce for the week comes home in one bag, and there is grass to sit on afterwards.

First time here to check out the venue. I loved the market! I bought yummy food and a beautiful plant for my mum for mothers day. Everyone is so friendly. I know that this is beyond your control but it would be safer if there was a pedestrian crossing on the main road. Although, it was drizzly and grey but lots of people! Communication has been clear and prompt 👍
This is a fantastic venue for hosting small parties of around 40-50 people. We organised a gender reveal party here, and our guests absolutely loved the place! The owners were friendly, easy to communicate with, and provided detailed information about the booking process. The interior of the building seems to have been recently renovated and has a tropical garden vibe, which was exactly what we were looking for. It looked amazing once we added our food and decorations to the provided tables. A great bonus is that the venue provides a freezer and fridge, which was very convenient for storing our cake and drinks. The booking also included access to an outdoor area with a large shaded tree, making it a great spot for guests to relax and perfect for hosting a ceremony. One thing to note is that the building can get quite hot during summer, so it might be better suited for winter or evening events. Adding air conditioning would be a great improvement. I would also like to mention that if the owner could provide customers with a floor plan during the booking process, it would be very helpful for planning how to arrange decorations and other items. The booking process was smooth and worry-free. All we had to do was arrive and leave on time, and take our own garbage with us – the cleaning was included in the booking fee. Highly recommend this venue for small parties!

The Shed Collective offers great vibes 💃 and gorgeous 😲 local produce at their farmers’ market! They have thirty stallholders, including three organic and spray-free fruit 🥝🍎🍋 and vegetable 🥔🍆🍅🥕 vendors, microgreens, hot food, different breads 🍞 amazing baked treats, organic tea, alternative meat and cheese 🧀 freshly squeezed organic juice🍹and tonics, flowers 💐 plants, hummus and dips, deli goods, smoothies, barista coffee ☕️from Mt Atkinson, and so much more! Bring a blanket to sit on, or use one of (the very few) benches, and enjoy 😊 the beautiful garden that surrounds the market and live music. Dogs 🐕 are always welcome! The market is heavily geared towards sustainability, eco-friendliness 🌏 vegans, vegetarians, organic, and alternative produce. They had some amazing cheese 🧀 made from nuts 🥜 and some very true to original "meat" made from pea flour. They have dairy free ice cream🍦and fudge made from coconut milk. It was great to see so many alternatives 👍 I had a delicious 😋 Chelsea (cinnamon) bun 😉 and insanely good coffee ☕️ The only issue is that you are not allowed 🚫 to park at the market, because the available parking is for a restaurant 🍽 and a curio shop that are also there. You have to park on the roadside 🚗🚗🚕🚕🚕🚗 which has very limited parking. People started parking from 7:30am, even though the market only opens at 8:30am 😲 It created a bit of chaos 🚕🚗🚗🚕 with people having to walk quite far🚶♀️Then you have to go down this very long, steep, potholed, gravel road 😳 Apart from that, it's a lovely market to explore and enjoy 😍
Absolutely love visiting The Shed Collective Markets — such a beautiful atmosphere with an amazing variety of stalls and genuinely lovely people. One of my favourite markets to wander through 🫶 And a special mention to The Best Humous Company… honestly some of the best food and service around! Everything is so fresh, delicious and made with so much care. Always greeted with a smile and such friendly service ❤️ Highly recommend checking them out if you visit the markets!
Such a beautiful, small and very clean venue. I live almost an hour away from this place and it was worth the drive. The inside and the outside is gorgeous. The kitchen is a great, decent size, heaps of room to move around.
