What it is

The maze stretches over a kilometre if families take every wrong turn, with hidden caves to discover inside. Tractor rides trundle up to the top paddocks, where the views stretch out to the Sky Tower and Rangitoto Island. A playground, sandpits, and a licensed café round out the day on site. All activities are included in the general admission price, along with a feed container per person.

The farm suits preschoolers and school-age children equally well, and an annual pass makes it a place families can return to across the seasons rather than just a one-off visit.

We visited Kiwi Valley Farm Park as part of our kindy excursion with my 2yo daughter and had such a great time! She absolutely loved the pony ride, the animals were gentle and friendly, and all the staff — including the pony ride, petting area, and café staff — were so kind and welcoming. Lots of great play areas for kids and plenty of hand-washing stations everywhere too, which made things really convenient for families. Definitely a must-visit place for young kids!

Kiwi valley farm is super fun for kids and our animal lovers! We will come back in a few weeks to pet the cute bunnies as the weather cools down then. We had such a fun day!

Kiwi Valley is a great place for people of any age to visit, me and my family loved our experience here. My daughter is 4 and enjoyed feeding the chickens,goats,sheep and llamas. As shown in the photos, the feed containers are very generous for only $1 each. The fact that it's not an additional cost for pony rides for the kids, the tractor ride & the petting zoo where you are given a mat for your lap and friendly staff ask you what little animal you'd like is fantastic, they have rabbits,guinea pigs & rats that are all great for kids to have sit on them and pet 🐇 🐀 I would absolutely recommend Kiwi Valley to anyone for a great time at a reasonable price point.

The farm is not very large, but fills with lots of fun activities. Animal feeding and petting are the most highlights. Pony ride is also good, but the loop is just too short. Overall, it's family friendly and worth the visit. I only wish the owner could expand the farm even bigger. 😉 Behold, Mr. Hungry! 👇👇

What an amazing experience at the Kiwi Farm! From reception to every section we visited, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, and you can really feel the pride in what they do. Highly recommend — well done to the whole team! 🥝
