Maungawhau Station First Looks

Maungawhau Station opens its doors for one-hour First Look sessions before passenger services begin, giving families a rare walk-through of one of Auckland's most architecturally considered transport spaces. The design draws on the volcanic landscape and cultural connections to the nearby maunga, with natural materials and generous platforms that feel a world away from a typical commuter station.

On the day, entertainment and activities celebrate the local community, and there is a chance to learn how the City Rail Link will reshape travel across the city for generations to come.

The Uptown neighbourhood surrounds the station, and local businesses are running special offers in connection with the event, including the chance to win free travel on Auckland Transport. Free tickets are required as spaces are limited.
