Create a One-Page Comic with Ant Sang

Ant Sang — cartoonist, graphic artist, and the designer behind animated television show Bro'Town — leads this workshop at Flat Bush Library, guiding participants through the process of designing an original character and then writing and drawing a one-page comic from start to finish.

Sang brings serious credentials to the table. His graphic novels The Dharma Punks, Shaolin Burning, Helen and the Go-Go Ninjas, and Duffy and the Bullies have been published across the US, UK, France, Taiwan, Australia, and New Zealand, and he has worked across film, television, and theatre.

The workshop is pitched at ages 13–18 and is presented by Auckland Council Libraries as part of We Read Auckland / Ka Pānui Tātou i Tāmaki Makaurau. Free tickets are required as spaces are limited.
