Sky Tower

The tower was nice- sweeping, panoramic views of the city from floor 51 and floor 60. The elevators were a little confusing, as was the path- you go to 51 viewing level first, then up to 60, then back down to floor 53 where the bar / restaurant is before you leave with the exit through the gift shop. Maybe a touch overpriced for what is essentially a photo op, but the windows were clean and the view was great.

The Sky Tower is a great way to take in views of the whole city. The lookout gives you a proper 360° perspective, and it’s an easy way to understand how Auckland is laid out. It’s definitely worth going, but t it can feel a bit pricey for what you get. On clear days, you might even catch people doing the SkyJump from the top, which is pretty cool to watch.
