SonSk8 Indoor Skatepark

SonSk8 in Glen Innes is Auckland's only indoor space dedicated to wheeled sports — skateboarding, scootering, BMX, rollerblading, and inline skating all under one roof. Run as a not-for-profit, it exists to keep kids on wheels year-round, rain or shine, and the pricing reflects that community focus.

Beginners can make a beeline for the learn-to-skate lessons, which cater to all skill levels and need no advance booking. Helmets, skateboards, scooters, and rollerblades are available to hire on the day, so families don't need to arrive fully kitted out. One-on-one lessons are also available for those wanting more focused coaching.

Themed weekly sessions — including a free Rangatahi session, a Wahine night, a Scooter Club, and a dedicated BMX night — give regular visitors plenty of reasons to come back. Birthday parties can be booked for exclusive use of the space, making it a ready-made active celebration for a group of any skill level.
