What it is
Hop aboard a miniature train or watch model boats glide across the water at Peterson Reserve in Panmure. Run by passionate volunteers, the Auckland Society of Model Engineers opens its track and lake to visitors on Sunday afternoons. A wonderfully charming and unique outing that sparks curiosity and delight in little ones and grown-ups alike.

Nice place in Panmure with small trains. You can ride them on Sundays. It is fun for kids and families. Friendly people run it and it is a good simple outing.
Amazing!!! The train was so good. It was only $2 a ride or 6 for $10. The train had surprisingly good speed and a decent length track . 10/10 would definitely go again.

Lots of fun! The track has 2 tunnels and isn't too long for little ones. There are usually 2 trains operating and the queues are not overly long. There's also good parking.
Great experience! Friendly guys to help, kids absolutely love it, plenty of space to watch the trains come through the tunnels and around the tracks. Have been here three times and a great afternoon activity. Good prices too!
Lots of fun on a nice day for adults and kids alike. Small scale trains and the track is designed in such a way that the ride does go for quite a while which is nice. Walk around the nearby basin and also enjoy the nearby playgrounds.
