Dinosaurs at Auckland Zoo

Roar into prehistoric times at Auckland Zoo's Dinosaur Discovery Track! Set in the Zoo's former elephant habitat, this larger-than-life walk-through experience features 20 animatronic dinosaurs that move, roar, and yes — some even spit water!

Kids will come face-to-face with 15 incredible species spanning the Jurassic and Cretaceous periods, including the feathered Utahraptor, the towering Brachiosaurus, and a Tyrannosaurus Rex with babies in tow.
