Devonport Chocolates

Devonport Chocolates has been making handcrafted chocolates from its Devonport kitchen since 1991, giving it well over three decades of small-batch craft behind every piece. The range spans bonbons, truffle slices, marshmallows, chocolate bars and hot chocolates, alongside limited-edition flavours that rotate through the year.

The boutique shop is a natural detour on a Devonport wander — kids tend to make a beeline for the window display, and the variety of formats means there is something to suit a small treat as much as a considered gift. Gluten-free and plant-based lines sit alongside the core milk, dark and white chocolate ranges.

Chocolates are also made available to ship nationwide, but the shop itself is where the full experience lands — the smell alone tends to slow a family's pace considerably.
