Vector Lights for Matariki 2026

Vector Lights transforms the Auckland Harbour Bridge into a stunning display of light and sound, telling the story of Matariki rising over Tāmaki Makaurau and honouring Ngāti Whātua Ōrākei as ahi kā — the keepers of the flame.

The show plays every 15 minutes from dusk until midnight and can be enjoyed from beloved waterfront spots across the city, including Little Shoal Bay, Westhaven Marina, and Maungawhau Mt Eden. Head to Silo Park on the opening Saturday for a special evening of live music and storytelling to kick off the festivities.
