What it is
Wander through the indoor evening market at Shed 2, where talented local artists, makers and creatives showcase their wares. Keep warm by the brazier and enjoy delicious hot kai from the Five Star Eats food stalls.
Join artist Penny Howard to write a wish to Hiwa-i-te-Rangi and hang it on the red whai, ready to be sent to the stars at the Dawn Wishes to Hiwa event. Rain or shine, this one goes ahead — the market is indoors and the kai stalls are undercover, so dress warmly and come ready to celebrate Matariki.
