Father's Day at Auckland Zoo

Auckland Zoo marks Father's Day with a BBQ lunch that lets dad settle in while the zoo's chefs do the work. Two BBQ boards cover the spread — one for meat lovers, one for plant-based appetites — and little ones get their own dedicated plate of goodies.

The meal is just the starting point for the day. After lunch, families can wander the zoo's gardens and tracks at their own pace, making a beeline for the Dinosaur Discovery Track and working through more than 130 animal species. Zoo entry is included in the ticket price.
