Flush Golf

Flush Golf is five golf simulator bays tucked into the Britomart laneways, and it turns a wet afternoon in the city into a round at Pebble Beach. Each bay is built around Trackman, which uses radar and high-speed cameras to read the club and the ball and then plays the shot out on a screen that fills the wall, so a mis-hit slices into the rough in front of you and a good one runs up the fairway. Clubs are there to use, so nobody needs to bring anything of their own. A bay is booked by the hour rather than by the person, which means a family shares one and takes turns, and the scoring keeps everyone honest. Coaching is available for children who want to take it further. It sits beside an Italian restaurant, so lunch is a few steps from the tee.
