Hot Wheels Legends Tour

The Hot Wheels Legends Tour is a global custom car competition with real stakes — the winning build gets immortalised as an official Hot Wheels die-cast sold in more than 150 countries. Auckland's stop is one of ten worldwide events feeding into a Global Grand Finale in November, where a single winner claims the title.

Judging is done by members of the Hot Wheels design team alongside automotive influencers, who score every entry on three criteria: creativity, authenticity (does it look like it drove straight off a Hot Wheels card?), and garage spirit — the personal story behind the build. The mantra is built, not bought, so custom creations of any make, model, shape, or size are welcome.
