What it is

ITI GGS Miniature Horses and Cart has been bringing Welsh Ponies and Miniature Horses to Auckland families since 2003. The team travels to birthday parties, school galas, weddings, and community events within 80 km of their farm in Kaukapakapa, arriving by horse truck with everything they need in tow. Children can take hand-led pony rides or clamber into a little horse-drawn cart for a carriage ride that tends to stop everyone in their tracks.

For families who want more than a single-event visit, the farm itself welcomes horse-loving children for riding lessons (suited to ages two to eight or nine), horsemanship sessions covering handling, care, and safety, and casual rides on the property.

The team also offers equine affection sessions — a quieter, more therapeutic experience with the ponies — at the farm or an external venue. Most party bookings run for around one to one and a half hours.

I wish I could give ITIGGS 6 stars. We booked pony rides for my children's birthday party and they did an amazing job. They moved things around when it started raining and were so friendly with all the kids and parents. We couldn't recommend them more.

Most incredible entertainment for my daughter's 5th unicorn party! No other pony ride providers I came across were able to dress up their ponies as unicorns. The kids couldn't believe they were riding 'real' unicorns. It was the best entertainment, even the adults enjoyed it. Highly recommend Rebecca and her team!

Wow what an incredible experience we had for a magical 3rd Birthday! Rebecca goes above and beyond to create an amazing time for the little riders. We were blown away at the care and effort she went to to make the day extra special. would absolutely recommend ITI GGS Miniature horses to anyone looking for something extra special.
